Valentine's Self-Love Ceremony:
“Self-love is safety.”
When I first heard these words, they rocked my world.
The many times in my life that I’d felt unprotected and vulnerable to danger, physically, emotionally, and sexually, flashed before my eyes.
All of a sudden, I could see that Self-Love was exactly what I was lacking in those moments.
Without Self-love we easily compromise ourselves in order to "earn" love from the outside.
We bulldoze our own boundaries.
We disconnect from our own desires.
We overly focus on the wants of others.
We do it mentally, discounting our ideas and thoughts, instead of valuing our insights and clarity.
We do it emotionally, repressing our feelings, instead of seeing them as wise messengers.
We do it sexually, tuning out from our own sensations, instead of deeply discovering what turns us on.
We bulldoze our own boundaries.

Marina Nabao
is a body enthusiast, passionate about the wisdom and healing power of our bodies and all the ways we are able to integrate mind-body-spirituality in a conscious and loving way so we can thrive. As an Embodiment Coach and Somatic Trauma Healer, she supports women and non-binary vulva owners who are trapped in the chains of past trauma and have a deep desire to reclaim their sovereign power and inner freedom.
She’s also a Senior Teacher at Layla Martin’s year-long VITA™ Sex, Love & Relationship Coaching Certification and other Sacred Sexuality programs at the VITA™ Institute.
Marina has been practicing and studying Sexual Tao and Jade Egg since 2016. Her teachers are Layla Martin, Minke de Vos and Master Mantak Chia.
